Privacy & cookies
This site is an informational companion to the Belunie Seating Planner. It provides product details and user guidance; it does not create customer accounts, take payments, or collect the guest information entered into the planner.
1. About this site
Belunie publishes this website for product information, demonstrations, and user guidance. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to [email protected].
2. What we process and why
Visiting this website
Our hosting and content-delivery providers may receive technical request data such as your IP address, browser and device details, requested URL, date and time, and security events. This is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose faults, and keep it secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure website.
Contacting us
If you email us, we process the information in your message and your contact details to reply and manage the request. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract where relevant, or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Using the seating planner
Guest names, table assignments, dietary notes, and other planning information entered into the product are stored locally by your browser on your device and are not sent to Belunie by the planner. You control that information and should avoid entering anything you do not need.
Playing the demonstration video
The page first displays a locally hosted cover image and does not contact YouTube merely because you visit or scroll past it. If you choose to play the demonstration, your browser loads YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player. Google and YouTube may then receive technical and playback information such as your IP address, device and browser details, referring page, and video interactions.
Continuing to Etsy
Purchases do not take place on this website. If you follow a link to Etsy, Etsy processes checkout, account, payment, and order information under its own privacy terms. Belunie may receive the limited order and customer details Etsy makes available for fulfilment and support.
3. Providers and recipients
Technical data may be handled by the following providers only as needed to deliver their services:
- Cloudflare, for hosting, delivery, security, and any access-control gate enabled for this domain.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces used on this website.
- YouTube and Google, which deliver the demonstration video only after you choose to play it.
- jsDelivr, which supplies the Motion animation library on the landing page.
- Etsy, when you follow a purchase link or place an order on its platform.
Some providers operate outside the European Economic Area. Their own notices explain the transfer safeguards they use. We do not sell personal data.
4. Cookies and similar storage
This website does not intentionally use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or cross-site marketing trackers. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies or comparable signals for security, traffic management, and access authentication. Because those functions are necessary to provide and protect the service, they are not controlled by an advertising-consent banner.
The YouTube player is not loaded until you select play. Once activated, YouTube or Google may set or access cookies, local storage, or comparable technologies under their own terms. If you do not want your browser to connect to YouTube, do not activate the video; the rest of the page remains available.
The seating planner uses browser storage to keep your planning data on your device. That storage is part of the product function, is not used to track you across websites, and can be removed through the planner or your browser settings. Clearing browser data may permanently remove your plan.
5. Retention
Local planner data remains on your device until you delete it or clear the relevant browser storage. We keep correspondence and order-support records only as long as needed to answer you, provide support, meet accounting or legal duties, and resolve disputes. Provider security and request logs follow the retention schedules described by the relevant provider.
6. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to receive portable data. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Email [email protected] to exercise a right. We may ask for enough information to confirm your identity.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL) or your local data-protection authority.
7. Changes
We may update this notice when the website, providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
